Apostle Dr. Muriel Fuqua is a radiant force in both professional and spiritual spheres, known for igniting passion and purpose in every life she touches. As a certified motivational speaker, leadership trainer, and personal development coach, she is affectionately called a "Professional Pusher" — inspiring individuals to rise boldly into their God-ordained destiny.
With over 15 years as a seasoned emcee, Dr. Fuqua brings elegance, energy, and excellence to every stage she graces, orchestrating events with heartfelt engagement and impeccable timing. Her ability to uplift and inspire has left lasting impressions on audiences large and small.
A scholar at heart, she holds a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from International Seminary, along with B.A. and M.A. degrees in English Literature from Jackson State University. Over her 35-year tenure at Daytona State College, she pioneered the first African American Literature course and continues to influence minds through education.
As Senior Pastor of Word And Praise Family Church, Inc. for over 25 years, Dr. Fuqua leads with compassion, wisdom, and unwavering faith. She is also the visionary behind U-Will Grow Inc., a coaching and training platform designed to re-engage leaders and teams with purpose and clarity.
Dr. Fuqua holds a DEI Certification from Cornell University and serves as a board member and Inspirational Leader for the Pilot Club of the Halifax Area, Inc., continuing her mission to uplift and serve her community.
Her journey is beautifully supported by her husband, Pastor Danny Fuqua, and enriched by their loving family — two children, three grandchildren, and a devoted daughter-in-law. Guided by the belief that “Knowledge held within is dead knowledge. Share it with others, and then it is resurrected,” Dr. Fuqua’s life is a testament to growth, generosity, and God’s grace.
